The Board of Directors of Pride St. Louis, Team Saint Louis, and St. Louis G.L.A.S.S. are joining together in opposition of Missouri Amendment 3. 

Our position honors our collective founding commitment to fostering a welcoming and safer space for the LGBTQIA+ community and our allies -- in all the events and activities we provide.

Amendment 3's primary goal is to restrict women's reproductive rights across Missouri. We are deeply concerned by the campaign rhetoric being used to achieve this goal; rhetoric which demonizes transgender members of our community by raising alarm over youth healthcare provisions already governed by existing state law.

We recognize some may hold differing viewpoints on the broader amendment. However, as leaders of some of the largest LGBTQ+ organizations in the St. Louis metro area, we must strongly oppose rhetoric that marginalizes or divides our community, which includes women and trans individuals central to this amendment.  

Our commitment to inclusion means ensuring every member of our community knows they belong.
